Betta Grains<\/strong> is one in a group of grain and cereal enterprises, that has been trading in grains and cereals since 1968.\u00a0 Betta Grains sells open sack cereals and milled flour products targeting smallholder women and youth resellers and Nairobi\u2019s urban families. Our product range includes beans, rice, legumes, peas, maize, nuts, whole grains, nuts, and various milled flours.<\/p>\n

Betta Grains supplies cereals to a whole range of resellers<\/strong> the majority being<\/strong> micro or small enterprises owned by women and youth, who procure cereals for resell at a markup, schools, hospitals, churches, restaurants, and food vendors.\u00a0 Betta Grains Retail customers<\/strong> constitute purchases for household consumption, restaurants, and mini-marts whom we sell at our \u201ceveryday low prices\u201d price strategy.\u00a0 Our focus to provide affordable food for the mass market, especially the bottom of the pyramid mostly low and middle income households.\u00a0 We pride ourselves in being able to feed Kenyan at less than US$1\/day.<\/p>\n

Farmers<\/strong> are important to us, that is why we created the www.bettagrains.com<\/a>.\u00a0 We simply wanted to provide farmers with market price to help them make informed discussion when selling their agricultural.\u00a0 We initially started by providing Kenyan prices only, but as requests from all over the world, so we started reporting in US$ as well as reporting on other global \u00a0markets.<\/p>\n
